he Continued in Such Service That She this Deponent can give
no other Account respecting the Settlement of her said late Father
Wm Budge< no role > Save that She has been informed by one Jane Cross< no role >
formerly a Servant to her said late Father and Which information
she believes to be true That her said Father many years ago
lived in & rented a house in the Parish of Saint John Wapping in
in the said County Middlesex and was charged to and Paid
the Scavengers Tax for the Same and at which time the
Payment of Such Tax gained a Settlement That She this Depont.
was born in Stone House Yard in the said Parish of Saint
John Wapping as She has been informed by her Parents & Verily believes
she this Depont. having been educated in the Charity School
belonging to the same Parish That She this Deponent never
lived as a hired Servant for a year nor was ever bound apprentice
nor to her knowledge or belief ever did any Act to gain a Settlemt
for herself save what She might acquire by her Marriage as
aforesaid That she this Depont hath three Children namely Lewis
William
< no role > , aged about Ten years Mary Elizabeth< no role > aged about four
Years, and Ann Mary< no role > aged about Seventeen Months the
lawful Issue of this Depont. by her said husband to whom she
was lawfully married.
