Margaret Holt< no role > the widow of Henry Holt< no role > mariner
deced maketh oath That her Parents were Natives of
Ireland but their Place of Settlement she can't at present
recollect or set forth That many years ago She was lawfully
Married to her Said husband who sometimes informed her
that he was born in Liverpoole in England and Sometimes
Said that he was born in Ireland but the place where he
never informed her That he Served his apprenticeship with
a Seafaring Person but what his name was he never
informed her That to this Depont. knowledge information
or belief her Said late husband never rented a house of the
yearly Rent or value of Ten Pounds nor ever served any
Parish office nor ever Paid any Poors Rates or Kings
Taxes nor ever did any Act to gain a Settlement in his
own right Save what he might Acquire by his Said
apprenticeship That She this Depont. was born in a
place Called Castle Dock near Dublin in Ireland That
She never was an apprentice nor ever lived as a hired
Servant for a year nor ever Paid any Poors Rates or
Kings Taxes nor to her knowledge or belief ever did
any Act to gain a Settlement in her own right Save
what she might Acquire by her Said Marriage.
