Ann Potter< no role > widow of John Potter< no role > deced Maketh oath
That her Said late husband has informed her that he was
hired & lived as a hired Servant by the year at Certain Yearly
Wages with a Person (whose name She Can't at present recollect
who kept the Horse Guards Taphouse in the Parish of St
Margaret in the City & Liberty of Westminster in the
County of Middlesex & Continued in Such Service for a year
& upwards & by means thereof as she is advised gained
a legal Settlement there And this Depont. is the better
induced to believe Such information to be true for that
about Seven Years ago her Said husband Swore his
Settlement to be in that Parish And it was then admitted
by the Parish officers there to be his place of Settlement
And this Depont. Saith that to her knowledge or belief
her Said late husband never did any Act to gain a
Subsequent Settlement nor hath She Since his Death
done any Act to gain a Settlement herself And that She
hath a Child named Thomas< no role > Aged about Six Years the
lawfull Issue of this Depont. by her Said late husband
