late husband was a Mariner and brought up to the
Sea But where his Place of legal settlement is
this Depont. doth not nor ever was informed nor
Can set forth and this Depont. farther saith that
about thirty Eight years ago while she was sole
& before Marriage she this Depont. lived as a hired
servant by ye year at ye Yearly Wages of four
Pounds with Mr Benjamin Lethelear< no role > of Dowgate
Hill in the Parish of St Mary Bothan at Dowgate
in the City of London and Continued in such service
for the space of a year And saith that she has not
since lived as a hired servant by the year Nor done
any other Act to Acquire settlement in her own
right to her knowledge or belief
