Maketh oath That about forty Years ago her
said husband was bound an Apprentice By Indre
to Humphry Hopkins< no role > a Lighterman and Waterman
of Shad Thames then Called in the Parish of Saint
Olave But now Called the Parish of Saint John
in Southwarke in the County of Surry and
duly served his Apprenticeship By means whereof
he gained a legal settlement there And farther
saith that to her this Deponents knowledge
information or belief her said late husband did not
at any time rent a house of Ten pounds a year
or upwards Nor serve any Parish offices nor
live as a hired servant by the year nor gain any
subsequent settlement Nor hath she this Deponent
to her knowledge or belief done any Act since
her sd husbands Death to Acquire a settlement
in her own right
