Peter Jones< no role > Maketh oath that about
twenty one Years agoherrented a house known
by the Sign of the Coopers Arms in King Johns
Court in the Parish of St. Mary Magdalen
Bermondsey in ye county of Surry and paid all
Parish Taxes & by Means thereof gained a legal
settlement there And this Depont. saith that
he hath not since gained any subsequent settlemt
havg never since rented a house of Ten pounds
a year or upwards nor been a hired servt by ye
Year nor served any parish offices nor done
any Act to acquire another settlemt.


Sworn this 4th day
of Sepr. 1756 before us
