forty two years ago the sd. Thomas Simkins< no role > deced
was bound apprentice to James Higgins< no role > a Pipe
Maker who yn lived in Kings Arms Yard in ye parish
of St. Sepulchre in ye City of London And with whom
he served ye last four years of his apprenticeship this Dept
being Tellow Apprentice with him at ye same time
And that to this Deponts. knowledge or belief the
sd Thomas Simkins< no role > never Rented a house of Ten
pounds a year or upwards nor served any parish
offices nor gained any settlemt. Subsequent to
his Apprenticeship And the sd. Mary Simkins< no role >
for herself saith that she was Married to her sd late
husband Thomas Simkins< no role > deced abt. Thirty Two years
ago And that to her knowledge information or
belief her sd late husband never rented a house
of Ten pounds a year or upwards nor served any
parish offices nor gained any Settlement Subsequent
to his Apprenticeship abovemenconed
