deced Maketh oath that his father hath
often informed him that about fifty Six Years
ago his sd. father Rented a House of a
Ten Pounds a Year in ye Parish of St. Anne
Westminster in the County of Middx And by
Means thereof gained a legal Settlement in
that Parish And this Deponent Saith that
he this Deponent hath a Son now living a
Married Man named James Powell< no role > whose wifes Name is Elizabeth< no role >
And Saith that he this Deponent & his sd
Son James Powell< no role > in right of this Deponts. sd
father Thomas Powell< no role > are legally Settled in
ye sd. Parish of St. Anne Westmr. he this Dept.
Nor his sd. Son James having ever done any
Act Whereby to acquire any other Settlemt
ye as aforesd.
