Hyam Zachariah< no role > maketh Oath
that he has been informed by his Father
and Mother who are now deceased that
he was Born in Dukes Place in the Parish
of St. James Dukes Place in the City of
London and further for himself saith
that he has never lived as a hired
Servant by the Year in any Parish or
Place for the space of One Year together
nor never was an Apprentice or Rented
any House or Lodging of the Yearly
Rent or Value of Ten Pounds a Year or
done any Act to his knowledge or
Belief to gain a Settlement in his
own right, nor can he give any Account
of the Settlement of his Father or Mother
or either of them That he has a Wife
named Elizabeth< no role > to whom he was lawfully
Married at the Parish Church of St. Leonard
Shoreditch about Twenty Years ago & Five
Children the lawful Issue by his said Wife
Namely George< no role > aged about Nineteen
Years, Elizabeth< no role > aged about Sixteen Years
Henry< no role > aged about Five Years Ann< no role > aged
about Two Years & a half and Sarah< no role > aged
about Five Months which said Three last
mentioned Children have done no Act to
gain a Settlement for themselves & are
as he believes with his said Wife who
Eloped from him about Nine Months ago
