Continued, Friday, 30th. Novr. 1798 .

And had ordered that Five Chaldrons of Coals,
should be provided, for the use of the Committee.
Room and Clerks Office.

And had Audited Bills, amounting to £246..5..11.

Wednesday, 7th. November.

That the Committee had consented, that William
Waddington
< no role > , Esqre . should Assign his Lease of
Premises in Chatham Place , to Mr. Thos. Maltby< no role > ;
that John Powell Smith< no role > , Esqre . should Assign his
Lease of Seven Houses, Situate on the East Side of
King Edward Street , Wapping to Mr. Jno. Miller< no role > .

That, the Surveyor had reported, that he had, together
with the Clerk, and Steward, agreed with the
respective Occupiers of the Houses in Bridewell
Precinct, (then on Lease, at an annual Rent of £79)
to take the same for One Year, from Christmas then
next, at several Rents, which amounted to
£274..18..

That, the Treasurer had reported, that he had
attended a Committee of the Bridge House Estate
to treat for a renewal of the Lease of a House and
Vaults in Fowke's Court, near Tower Street, being
part of the Bridge. House Estate; and that the
Committee had very liberally agreed to grant a Lease
at the said Premises, from Christmas last, at the
present Rent of £44 Per Annum.

And that the Committee had Resolved, that it
should be recommended to the next General Court,
that he Land Tax payable out of the different
Farms & Land, belonging to this Hospital, should
be redeemed and purchased.
