Continued Thursday April 27th. 1797

the Surveyor and Clerk let all the Premises in Old
Bethlem (lately on Lease to Thomas Tooley< no role > . Mrs .
Mary Maund< no role > and Mr Anthony Morland< no role > at
the yearly rent of £136-1-6) to the respective occupiers
of the said Houses at several Rents which amounted
in the whole to the Sum of £331-16-..

That the Committee had ordered that seven houses
on the East side of Wapping dock Street be let for twelve
months under the direction of the Surveyors Clerk and
Steward and that the letting of them upon Leases
should be postponed

And had resolved at their next Meeting to view the
Premises in the occupation of Mr Sylas Palmer< no role >
agreeably to the recommendation of the Surveyor

And had ordered that the Surveyor should prepare
an Estimate of the expence of painting and white
washing the inside of the Hall and lay the same
before the next Committee

And had ordered that Wooden Rails should be fixed
upon the Hall Stair Case under the direction of the
Surveyor.

And had ordered that the Basement Story and First
floor of the Treasurers House should be painted and
whitewashed under the direction of the Surveyor

That the Committee had Ordered that the Clerk
should communicate the report of the Surveyor
respecting the Settlement in the fronts of the houses
