Auditor General Dr . John Morrow< no role > Mr. Thomas Monro< no role > Mr. Saml.
Swain< no role > Mr. Saml. Hall< no role > and Edwd. Atkins< no role > Esqr . in the words and
figures following Vizt." It is the unanimous Opinion of this
Committee that it be recommended to the next General Court that the
Salary of Mr.John Gozna< no role > the Apothecary of this & Bridewell
Hospital be increased from £80 to £100 P Annum in lien
of the Gratuity of £20.. P Annum usually given him in Consideratn.
of his great Diligence and Consciencious Discharge of his Duty
and that such Salary do Commence at Christmas last All which
is nevertheless submitted to the Judgment of the Court and Ordered to
be reported at the next Court."This Court having duly weighed
and Considered the said Recommendation doth Concur with the said
Committee therein.

had (in Pursuance of an Order of Court of the 30th. day of November
last) made an Inquiry and found that John Hicks< no role > late apprentice
to Mr. Roger Owen< no role > was set up for himself in his Trade and has the
Character of a Diligent and Sober Man It is Ordered that the
Clerk do pay the said John Hicks< no role > £10 out of Mr. Fowke's Gift to be
allowed him in his next Account.
