Proposed as a Governor


John Yates< no role > of Saint John Street Esqr being
Proposed by Henry Cranke< no role > Esqr . Auditor General to be
Elected a Governor of these Hospitals It is Ordered
that such Election shall be determined by a majority of
Votes at the next General Court and that Notice of such
intended Election be inserted in the Summons's for
such Court.

Stewart Thomas< no role > to be paid £10
Mr Lock's Gift


Mr. John Turner< no role > one of the Governors reported that
in Pursuance of an Order of Court of the 29th. day of
January last he had made an Inquiry and found
that Thomas Stewart< no role > late Apprentice to Roger Owen< no role >
was set up for himself in his Trade and has the Character
of a diligent and Sober Man It is Ordered that the
Steward do Pay the said Thos. Stewart Ten Pounds out of
Mr. Lock's Gift to be allowed him in his next Account.

Fitch Joseph< no role > to be paid £10

Henry Major< no role > Esqr and Mr. Thos. Beardmore< no role >
two of the Governors reported that in Pursuance of an
Order of Court of the 29th. Day of January last they had
made an Inquiry and found that Joseph Fitch< no role > late
Apprentice to William Wilby< no role > was set up for himself
in his Trade and has the Character of a diligent and
Sober Man It is Ordered that the Steward do
Pay the said Joseph Fitch< no role > Ten Pounds out of Mr. Locks
Gift to be allowed him in his next Account.
