Continued Friday 14th. June 1782 .

read Also so much of the Regulations of the late Committee of
Treasury as related to the Office of Treasurer of these Hospitals
was read and thereupon It was moved (Pursuant to notice
given at the last General Court) and seconded That so much of
the Order of this Court for Establishing and Confirming such
Regulations as directs"That in Lien of a House the
"Treasurer of these Hospitals shall be allowed £50 a Year
"and the Room adjoining to the Clerks Office with a Five to
"be kept there whenever he should direct at the Expence of the
"Hospitals." be rescinded and the Question being put it
passed in the Affirmative unanimously And it is thereupon
Ordered that the same be rescinded accordingly.

Treasurer Mr. to occupy
the House till in possession of
Aldn . Thomas in Line of £50
P Annum Salary
Mr. Thomas to occupy the
House till Michaelmas without
paying any Rent from Midsummer


And it is further Ordered That the said
Messuage or Tenement with the Appurtenances be allotted
to the present Treasurer and his Successors during the
Pleasure of the Court from Michaelmas next and that the
allowance of £50 a Year made to the said present Treasurer
do from thenceforth cease. And it is further Ordered
that Mr. Thomas the Widow of the late Treasurer be permitted to
hold and Enjoy the said Messuage or Tenement with the
Appurtenances till Michaelmas next without paying any
Rent from Midsummer next for the same.

Salisbury Earl proposed as a
Governor


The Right Honble James Earl of Salisbury being
proposed by Mr. Treasurer to be Elected a Governor of these
Hospitals It is Ordered that such Election shall be
Determined by a Majority of Votes at the next General Court
and that Notice of such intended Election be inserted in the
Summons's for such Court.

Apprentices referred to the House
Committed to consider if any
regualtions are necessary respecting
[..] placing and by the Governors


It is Ordered that it be referred to the House
Committee to consider and Report what (if any) Regulations
are necessary respecting the placing out Apprentices by the
Governors to the Arts Masters of this Hospital
