Committees are also of Opinion That the Surveyor be allowed
a Salary of £50 P Ann for which he is to superentend the
repairs of the Scites of both Hospitals and Bridewell Precinct &
to Attend all Committees when required and that he be paid by Bill
for all other Works Vizt. After the rate of £5..P Cent for all
new Buildings and £2..10 "P Cent for all Repairs All which
is nevertheless submitted to the Judgment of the Court"- And
a Motion being made and seconded That the Words - "To
Measure and Map the same" - standing next after the Words - "and
also to Survey all Estates belonging to these Hospitals" - be left out
when upon Debate of the Matter and the Question being put it paper
in the Affirmative and another Motion being made & seconded
that in the room of the Words so left out The Words - "Under the
directions of the said Court and Committees" - be inserted when upon
