Continued Thursday 25th. Novr. 1779.

Wyatt and Gray to the said John Horrobin< no role > as herein before
mentioned for the Remainder of the Term so agreed to be
Granted by the governors of the same Hospitals and that in
Pursuance of such Order an Indenture of Lease bearing date
the 13th. day of April last was Granted by or by the Order
of the said Court of Common Council by the Name and Description
of the Mayor Commonalty and Citizens of the City of London
governors of the House of the Poor commonly called Saint
Bartholomews Hospital near West smithfield London of
the Foundation of King Henry the 8th. to the said Sarah
Box
< no role > of the aforesaid part of the said Ground and Premises
which are therein mentioned to be part of the Premises
contracted for by the said George Wyatt< no role > and Edward Gray< no role >
and which Contract so made with the governors of the said
Hospital is therein recited To hold to the said Sarah Box< no role >
her Executors Administrators and Assigns from Christmas then
last past for the Term of 50 Years being the Remainder then to
come of the said Term of 61 Years so agreed to be Granted by the
governors of the said Hospital as aforesaid Yielding and
Paying Yearly and every Year during that Term unto the
said Mayor and Commons and Citizens their Successors or
Assigns at or in the Office of Receipts and Payments of Money
of the Chamberlain of the said City for the time being to &-
for the Use and benefit of the said Hospital the Rent or Sum
of £5..5s..0d instead of reserving and making such Rent
payable to the treasurer or Rent Gatherer of the said Hospital
according to the usual Reservation contained in such Hospital
Leases and the Contract entered into by the said George Wyatt< no role >
and Edward Gray< no role > and by such Lease the Power of Granting-
Lycence for the Lessee to Assign the said Demised Premises is
reserved to the Lord Mayor Aldermen and Cornmons of the said
City for the time being in Common Councel Assembled instead of
being reserved in the usual and Accustomed form and according
to the aforesaid Contract of the said Wyatt and Gray to the governors
of the said Hospital or any five or more of them and it Appears.
