Ireland James John
Surrenders his Leases


This Court having duly weighed and considered
the said Letter is of Opinion that the recommendation of the
House Committee be complied with and that Surrenders of
the Leases from the said Mr. James John Ireland< no role > be
Accepted upon his delivering up the under Leases and
Authorizing and permitting the Hospital to recover and
receive the Arrears of Rent now due to him from the several
Tenants.

the like


It is the Opinion of this Court that the recommendation
of the House Committee be Complied with and that Surrenders
of the Leases from Mrs. Jane Richardson< no role > be Accepted upon
her delivering up the under Leases if any such there are.

Auditors Thanks of
the Court given them


A Motion being made and seconded that the thanks
of this Court be given to Mr. Auditor General and the
Committee of Auditors for their great Care in Settling the
Accounts of these Hospitals it passed unanimously in the
Affirmative.

No Question for rescending
any Order made by a forme
Court to be put till the next
Court and to be notied in
the Summons


It is Ordered that no Question on a Motion for
rescinding any Order made by a former General Court shall
be put until the next Court and that proper Notice of such
Question shall be inserted in the Summons's

removing the figures at the
Entrance of the Hospital
read and Referred back to the
Committee to employ a Person
to take down the same


Upon Reading an Order made by the Committee at
Bethlem Hospital on the 25th of April Instant in the Words
and figures following Vizt. That it is the unamimous Opinion
" of this Committee, that the figures at the Entrance of Bethlem
" Hospital be no longer exposed to the Inclemency of the Climate
" but be taken down and placed in some Convenient part of the
" said Hospital All which is nevertheless Submitted to the
" Judgment of the Court" This Court having duly weighed
and Considered the said Order, doth Order, that it be referred
to the said Committee to Employ a proper person to take down
the said figures and restore the same and afterwards to Consider
where they may be placed so that they be preserved in future
and report their Opinion thereon to the Court.
