Gratuity to Beadles
and Porters Man of
£5 each


Upon Reading the humble Petition of the four Beadles and
Porters Man of this Hospital for their Gratuities of £5 each for the
half Year at Midsummer last (their Salaries being small) It is
Ordered that the Clerk do give and pay unto them £5 each to be
allowed Sum in his next Account

Stewards Elected


At this Court the governors after named (vizt) The Right
Honourable Lord to Despencer, The Right Honourable Lord Comden,
Barlow Trewthick< no role > Esqr . Alderman , Robert Cotton Trefuses< no role > Esqr
James Walton< no role > Esqr , George Nelson< no role > Esqr . Bamber Gascoyne< no role > Esqr ,
Humphry Coates< no role > Esqr . Thomas Storer< no role > Esqr . John Elliott< no role > Esqr ,
James Worthington< no role > Esqr , Thomas Nixon< no role > Esqr , were Chosen
Stewards for the next Election Day who are desired to provide
a Dinner at their own bien Venue for the President treasurer
and governors to Dine together According to Ancient Custom
And in Case any of the Stewards Elected Shall declince or refuse
the same the Clerk is to Supply the same in Course
