Residue of the respective Terms now to come and unexpired And Mr.
Palmer being called in a second Time after treating thereupon agreed
to accept £1400 as a Consideration for such Assignment It is the
Opinion of this Committee to pay £1400for the same upon the
Execution of the Assignment of such Leases respectively All which is
Submitted to the Judgment of the Court and Ordered to be reported
to the next Court. It is Ordered That the said Report be Confirmed
and Mr. treasurer

Setting forth That the
Petitioner at a Committee held at Bridewell Hospital
on
the 22nd. Day of May 1765 did Agree with your Worships
for a Lease of All that Messuage or Tenement in Richards
Court
late in the Possession of

To hold
for the Term of 21 Years at the Yearly Rent of £55 and to
lay out the Sum of £250 under the Inspection of the
Hospital Surveyor That your Petitioner hath laid out the
Sum of £400 more than his Contract in Repairs of the said
Premises whereby the same are greatly improved In Consideration
whereof your Petitioner hopes your Worships will lengthen
the Term first agreed to be granted that he may share part
of such Improvement And thereby praying that he may have
an Additional Term of 10 Years determinable at his option on
giving Six Months Notice The Petitioner consenting to pay the
same Rent and to perform the Covenants as he agreed to by his
Contract for the first Lease This Court having duly weighed
