Upon Reading The Humble Petition of the four Beadles and
Porters Man of this Hospital for their Usual Gratuities of forty
shillings a piece for the half year Ending at Christmas last for their
Salarys are but small It is Ordered that the Clerk of these Hospitals
Do Give and Pay into them forty shillings a piece to be Allowed him in
his Next Account

The like Baskestmen

a piece for the half upon Ending at Christmas last for their Salarys
are but small It is Ordered that the Clerk of these Hospitals Do

governors Reported that in Pursuance of an Order of Court the
1st. December 1761 they had made Enquiry and found that John
Helford
< no role > who sewed his Apprenticeship in this Hospital to
Jeffrey Gillingham< no role > is set up for himself in his said Trade
and hath the Character of a Diligent and Sober Man It is
Ordered that the Clerk do Pay to the said John Helford Ten
Pounds out of Mr. Fowkes Gift

Sir William Hart< no role > and Edward Umfreville< no role > Esqr . Two of the
governors Reported that in Pursuance of an Order of Court
the 1st. December 1761 they had made Enquiry and found that,
Richard Dellery< no role > who served his Apprenticeship in this Hospital
to Sutton Sharpe< no role > is set up for himself in his said Trade and
has the Character of a Diligient and Sober Man It is
Ordered that the Clerk Do Pay to the said Richard Dellery< no role >
Ten Pounds out of Mr. Fowkes Gift
