Continued Friday 24th Novr. 1752

And this Comittee took into Consideration the Petitions & Proposals
of the following Persons for houses and Ground at Wapping belonging
to Bridewell Hospital Vizt

Higgins Mr. 10 Yrs Nobe added
to his Lease Wapps 9.}

The Petition of Captain William Higgins< no role > (referr'd by the Court the
14th. of Octr. 1748) Setting forth that he had Agreed to late a Lease of 2 houses
on the South side of Wapping Street No. 9 (which he has since made into
one house) from Michas 1745 for 21 years at £25 P Ann rent and to pay a Fine
of £30 which he has paid and to put the House into Repair (the Charge whereof
was then Estimated of less than £100) And that he had laid out £400 in the sd.
Repairs Therefore Prayed an Additional Term of 10 years And the Comittee
are of Opinion it is reasonable to Add 10 years to his Lease All wch
is Submitted Etc

This Court haveing duly Weighted & Considered the sd. Report doth
Confirm the same And Order that the Lease to the sd. William Higgins
be made for 10 years longer than was before Ordered each will expire of thinks 1776

And this Comittee took into Consideration the Petition of Benjamin
Price
< no role > (referr'd by the Court 26th March last) whereby he Proposed to take
a Lease of 2 houses on the North side of Wapping Street (No 10 ) for 21 years
at £8 P Ann rent clear of Taxes & to lay out £30 in repairs According to
a Particular Signed by himAnd this Comittee are of Opinion to Accept
the sd. Proposal and that a Lease be made to the sd. Benjamin Price with
usual Covenants from Xmas for 21 years at £8 P Ann rent clear of
Taxes payable Quarterly at Bridewell Hospital upon his laying out
£80 in Necessary Repairs According to the said Particular before
Midsumer next and makeing the same Appear to the
Satisfaction of the Comittee of this House and Examting a
Counter part of the said Lease All which is Submitted & Etc

This Court having duly weighted and Considered the said
Report doth Confirm the same And Order that a Lease be
made to the said Benjamin Price Accordingly.

Bolton Robt. proposal for a
Lease Wapp 13 put


And the Comittee took into Consideration the Petition of
Robert Bolton< no role > (referr'd) by the Court the 26th of Febry last)
whereby he Proposed to take a Lease of 4 Houses on the
Northside of Wapping Street and a Yard Opposite to 'em on the
South side of the Street being part of the premes Comprized in
a Lease to James Isaacson< no role > Esqr (No 15 ) at £50 P Ann rent wch
will ecpire at Midsumer 1754) for 21 years from the Expiration of
Isaacsons Lease at £25 P Ann rent clear of Taxes and to lay
out £800 in building and Repairs.

And also the Petition of Daniel Day< no role > (referr'd by the Court the 12th
of March last) whereby he proposed to take a Lease of 2 houses on the
North side of Wapping Street And a Yard and thereof Opposite but on the
South side of the Street (being other part of the premes Comprized in the
said Lease to Isaacson) for 21 years from the Expiration of Isaacsons
Lease at £10 P Ann rent clear of Taxes and to pay a FIne of £30
and lay out £200 in repairs.
