had brought Gin several times of Elliot which he brought out of a Closet
in a Bottle & which he took to be his ownSmith said he had Gin
from Elliot at times when he was not well & paid him for it but did not
know whence Elliot had itThat he gave Elliot a Little Silvers Milk
pot for his trouble in going up & down Stairs with persons who

to see him but that Elliot did not ask him for any thingMowden said
he gave Elliot a Silver Punch Ladle for his civility and trouble but that
he did not ask him for it or for any money & said he did not knew any
having sold Spiritrcons Liguors nor of his receiving the Milk pot and
Punch Ladle but said they were voluntarily given him & that he never
demanded money or any thing else any of the Prisonerwhere upon
they being all with drawn & The Court having considered the matter
