Hewlet & Smither agreed to take a Lease of the Governors of Bredewell
Hospital of one Messuage or Tenement and yard thereto belonging
intuate and being in Tudor street in the Precinct of Bridwell London
abutting South upon Tudor street and North upon Bridewell Hospital
East
upon a House and ground late in the occupation of Mary Alcock or her
under tenants and West on the passage
to the back Gate of the said Hospital
(being part of the passage
of the said Hospital) To hold for the Term of
Sixty one years from Xmas 1737 at a Pepper Corn Rent for the first year
and the yearly rent of Three pounds payable Quarterly clear of Taxes for
the residue of the Term and in Consideration of Twenty pounds to be paid for
affine and under certain Covenants in the said agreement mentioned
That the Petty Kewlet & Smither are desirous the said Lease may be
made to the Petr.

to the Court shall seem meet and the Court being satisfyed of the truth of
