quarterly clear of all Taxes and to lay out £600. on the premisses (being
allowed the Old Materials now being thereon and having free Liberty during
the said Term to take up lead and carry away any Goods and Wares at and from
the Ditchside or Pigekey) and with such Covenants as are usually contained in the
Leases from the Governours to their Tenants at Bridewell
And with a Covenant
to pay to the Chappell Wardens of the Precinct for the time being any Sum or Sums
of money quarterly in proportion with other Inhabitants in the said Precinct as shall
be rated or assessed from time to time at the usual meetings of the Chappell Wardens
and Inhabitants of the said Precinct and to pay a Fine of £50. and execute a
Counterpart of the said LeaseAnd praying a Lease thereof according to his said
proposalsIt is Ordered that it be referred to the Comittee of this House

was read wherein Mr. Fenwick
says he beleives his Client may be induced to accept £2000. in consideration
of her title Costs Etc: and of coming into an Act of Parliament to quiet the
Hospital in the Estate in Question That he makes this proposal confideing
that no use or advantage be made of his sincere endeavours to terminate this
affair in a manner he thinks most adviseable for both partys Whereupon
It is Ordered that it be referred to the Comittee of this house to consider the
same and the Gentleman of the profession of the Law who are Governors
of these Hospitals are desired to assist the said Comittee and to report their
Opinion thereon to the Court.
