Govrs. reced their Charge


At this Court the Charge was read to Mr. John Walls< no role > . Mr. John Carrier< no role >
Mr. Thomas Cox< no role > , Mr. Thomas Hassell< no role > Mr. John Gascoign< no role > Mr. Robert Pycroft< no role > and
Samuel Clarke< no role > Esqr . as Governors of these Hospitals.

to Mr. Whitners corrected before
ye. rest of ye. Apprentices}


James Simpson< no role > One of the Apprentices in this Hospital being brought before
the Court by one of the Beadles. Mr. Nathaniel Whitmore< no role > his Master complaind that
the said James Simpson< no role > run away the 21st. of Septr. last and did not return till this
Morning and that he is an idle Boy and will not do his Business and the Boy not denying
his Master Charge It was Ordered that he be corrected in the presence of the
rest of the Apprentices and a Cleg be put in his Leg which was done accordingly and
he was then sent home to this Master And this Court doth desire the Comittee of
this House to enquire how the said James Simpson< no role > behaves himself for the future.

Todd Bartho< no role > :behaved

Mr. Nathaniel Whitmore< no role > one of the Artsmasters of this Hospital
acquainted the Court that his Apprentices Bartholomew Todd< no role > who was twice corrected
at the last Court had behavd himself very well ever since.
