Upon Reading a Report from the Comittee of this House under the
hands of John Tayler< no role > Esqr . Treasurer , Mr. George Welham< no role > Mr. Joseph Kettle< no role > Mr.
Stephen Aynsworth< no role > Mr. James Phillips< no role > and Mr. Thomas Parry< no role > bearing date the
Thirty first day of October last in the words following Vizt.Mr. Christopher
Appleby
< no role > Executor to the Lady Holford being intitled to a Lease (No. 31) in Bridewell
precinct made by the Governors of Bridewell Hospital to one Richard Yerbery< no role > of a
House on the West side of King Edwards Street (Sale in the possession of one Haddlesey
but now empty) and the Woodyard against it reaching from King Edwards Street to the
Ditch side at the Rent of £10. P Ann which said Lease expird at Lady day 1727.
And also to another Lease (No. 36.) made by the said Governors to the said Yorbery
of a House and a Wharf to the Ditch Side abulling South on Nowby and a Stable at the
South East Corner of King Edwards Street at the Rent of £12.10..P Annum
which said last mentioned Lease also expird at Lady day 1727And the said
Mr. Appleby being also intitled to another Lease (No. 37.) in the said Precinct of
two Houses the Crooked Billett, the other the next House Northward or part of it
at the Rent of £4. P Ann which said last mentiond Lease will expire at Christmas
1731.He desired the Governors would grant him a new Lease of the
Woodyard and premes comprized in the said Lesae (No. 31) Except the empty house
untill Christmas 1731. and proposd to give for the same a Five of £40. and the old
Rent of £10. P AnnAnd also to have a new Lease of the House and
Wharf and premises comprized in the said Lease (No. 36) until Christmas 1731.
for which he proposd to give a Five of £40. and the old rent of £12..10..P Ann
Whereupon this Comittee having taken the said proposals into Consideration
and the said Mr. Appleby having withdrawn and being agen called in to amend his
proposal He offerd to give a Fine of £45. for the said Lease (No.31) and a Fine
of £50. for the said Lease No. 36This Comittee are of opinion to accept
of the said proposal and accordingly to grant him a new Lease of the premises comprizd
in the said Lease No. 31. Except ye. empty house and a now Lease of the Premisses
Compriz'd in the said Lease No. 36. both to expired at Christmass 1731Whereupon
the said Mr. Appleby gave two Guineas to ye. Peers Box And it is orderd' that this
opinion be reported to ye. next Court All which nevertheless is submitted to ye. Judgmt.
of ye. CourtThis Court Doth Confirm the said Report and Order
that 2 Lease be made to the said Mr. Appleby accordingly.

Vizt.This Comittee having taken into Consideration the proposal of
Mr. William Palimer< no role > Tenant in Holborn (No. 5) whereby he offered to
give for the house and ground he is now in possession of and the Whitehouse and
the rest of the Ground between his house and Hand Court (which is No. 1.)
£ 30. P Ann clear of Taxes and Fine of £140. for 61. years to comence
from Christmas next and to lay out £800. within 7. years in building two
