Ordered That the Election day be Thursday the Second
day of August next

Beadles Gratuity for ½ yr.
at Midsr. 1722


Upon reading the Humble Petition of the Beadles and Porters
Man of this Hospital for their usual gratuitys of forty shillings a peice in
respect of the half year Ending at Midsumer last for that their Salaries are
but small It is Ordered That the Clerk of those Hospitals do Give
and pay unto them forty shillings a peice to be allowed him in his next Account

Basketman gra for ½ yr

Upon reading a Report from the Comittee of this House bearing date
the 21st: day of February 1721/2 in the Words following ViztMr: Treasurer
Taylor Mr: Nicoll and Mr. Parry having been to view the Lands in Kent
belonging to Bethlem Hospital Reported to this Comittee That on the 31st. day of
August last they Viewed Cliffs and Farm in the Occupation of Mr. Roger Taddy< no role >
and Mr. Cooper and find the House wants to be new ript both the old and the
New part and the Walls of the New Building which are Cracks and have
given way to be Crampt and in Order thereto they desire to have Rough Timber
Allow'd for Rafters which they and their Workmen Comports with require two Trans
for which there are Elms Sufficient upon the premisses which grew for Close and
if they were removed would make the others thrive better and they will beat the
Expence of Workmanship and all other Materials necessary and take convit [..]
in Workmanlike manner They likewise Desire that the Lease for the remainder of
the term in being may be made to Mr William Cooper< no role > and Mr. Taddy with be
bound with him on a Bond for the performance of the CovenantsThat
there are several Pollard Ash Trees near the House the Heads of which are spread
so much that they are too heavy for the bodys and by that means some of them are
blown down and therefore they desire liberty to Lopp themThat they
are of Opinion to allow two Tonns of rough Timber (that is to say Elm Trees)
to be Assigned by such person as Mr: Treasurer shall Direct to be made up of
in the said Repaires and that the said Tenants may Lopp the pollard ashes
And they are also of Opinion That the Lease for the remainder of the Term in
being be made to the said William Cooper< no role > if the said Roger Taddy Enter into
Bond with him for performance of the CovenantsThis Court having
duely weigh'd and Consider'd the said Report doth Confirm the same And
It is Ordered That a Lease of the said Premisses for the remainder of
the term in being be made to the said William Cooper< no role > the said Roger Taddy
entring into Bond with him for Performance of Covenants

Apprentices made free


At this Court the Persons hereunder named were Ordered to be made for
of this City having Served their Apprenticeships in this Hospital to the Artsmaster
hereunder mentioned Vizt.
