Upon reading the humble Petition of Thomas Southwood< no role >
Setting forth that the Lease of Severall houses in Wapping now
in the Possion of sr . William Dodwell< no role > as assignee of John Delean< no role >
and the Lease of Severall other houses there in the possion of
Dwight as assignee of Dorothy haddock< no role > will both
expire at Lady day next and that the Said sr . William Dodwell< no role >
Dr. Dwight are not inclineable to RenewTherefore the Petr.
proposes to take a Lease of all the said prmisses for Forty one years
to Comence from Lady day next and to pay a fine of two hundred
pounds and the yearly Rent of Forty pounds or a fine of Three
hundred pounds and the yearly Rent of Thirty pounds It is
Ordered That ye Consideration thereof be referred to the Comee
of this house who are desired to Report their Opinion there all
to this Court

Beadles. Gratuity &
for ½ to xmas
last 1714}


Upon reading the humble Petition of the four Beadler and
Porters man of their hospital for their ususal gratuitys of forty
Shillings a peice in respect of the halfe year ending at Xmas last
for that their Salaries are but Small It is Ordered that
the Clerke of these hospitals do give and pay unto them forty Shillings
a pence to be allowed him in her next account.

Basketmen's Gratuity
for ½ to Xmas 1714/5


Upon reading the humble Petition of three Beadler or Basketmen
of the hospital if Bethlem for their ususal gratuitys of Twenty
Shillings a peice in respect of the halfe year ending at Xmas
last for that their Salaries are but small It is Ordered that
the Clerke of these hospitals do give and pay unto them Twenty
Shillings a peice to be allowed in his next account.

Apprentices to be
made free}


At this Court the Severall persons following were ordered to
be made free of their City haveing Served their Apprenticeships
in this hospital to the Artsmasters hereunder named vizt.

of £4 for ye year to Xmas

Upon reading the humble Petition of Roger Gethers< no role > Chappel Clerk of this hospital
Setting forth that the or at a Constant Charge & honble in Cleansing ye Chappel ye Lobby &
the Staires & lorbury after ye app [..] tences besides his teaching ye apprentices of this
hospital twice a week to sing Psalmes & not haveing any allowance or Salary in respect
thereof & humbly praying ye Consideracon of ye Court for Such his Service for ye
year last past ending at Xmas last It is Ordered That ye Clerke of these
hospital do give & pay unto ye sd Roger Gethin< no role > four pounds for such her Service
for the year ending at Xmas last to be allowed him in her next account
