of the proposeals of the said Mr. William Bates< no role > Vizt That he
will give £700 Fine for a New Lease of 51 years under the
old Reserved rent of £20 Ann and lay out £200 in
repaireing the said premisses within two years and this Comee
are of Opinion that a Lease be made to the said Mr. William
Bates
< no role > upon the Termer her proposes but for no more than
49 years and 1/4 from Lady day next because Several
other of the Hospital Leases to their Tenants at Wapping
will expire at the same timeThis Court doth
Confirme the said Report And it is ordered That
a Lease be made unto the said Mr. William Bates< no role > accordingly

Upon reading a Report from the Comittee of this house under
the hands of John Tayler< no role > Esqr Treasure Mr. Saml Keble< no role > Mr. Cha Lorregs< no role >
Mr. Braham Smyth< no role > Mr. John Shellon< no role > Mr. Charles Young< no role >
dated the 7th day of Septemr. last as followeth

ViztIn pursuance of an Order of Court of the 12th
day of Septemr. 1712. This Comee have come to an Agreemt. wth
Ma. John Simpson< no role > of the parish of St. Buttolph Aldgate in the County
of Middx Cornfactor that he shall have a Lease of the house in
Fowks Court late in the possession of Mr. Christopher Hanbury< no role >
to Comence at Michar next for the Terme of 11 years at the yearly
Rent of £30 payable Quarterly with such usual Covenants as are
contained in the Lease from the Governours of Bethlem Hospital
to their Tenants The Governours at their Charge to Sash the
Dineing room one pair of Staires and to allow so much towards
wainsotting the room two pair of Staires for wards as would
Wainscott the Little room one pair of Staires backward and
to white wash and paint the house and repair the Suit and put
the house in all other necessary Tenantable repairThis
Court doth Confirme the said Agreemt. And it is
Ordered that a Lease be made unto the said Mr. John
Simpson
