one of the Churchmasters
of this Hospital
prayed to be discharged from his said Master and that his Indentures
of Apprenticeship might be cancelled for that he was not able to
performe the Task his Master setthim which was Twelve Yards
a day of worsted caddus in an Engine Loom so very difficult to
work in that Two others of the said Payes apprentices had run away
because they could not do their Task in it And the said Page being
prsent in Court Seemed desirous to be rid of her said apprentice tho he
alledged it was a detriment to him, the said Cook haveing served
three years of his time and learnt his Trade so that he was more
capable of earning him money That the could do more than his
Task but was a Lazy wife Boy had run away house and helpt to Spoile
the rest of his Apprentices. That it was true two others had run
away from him the not because they could not do their Tasks but were
idle boys like this and did not care for any work Whereupon
and upon considering the whole matter this Court doth Order the
said Cook to returne to his Master to Serve out the remainder of
his time And the said Allen Page< no role >
was admonished to sett him

house dated the 21st day of this Instant July in these words
vizt. In pursuance of an Order made at a Court holden
at this hospital the Twenty Sixth day of June last this Comee
examined into the matter of the Complaint of Edmund Newton< no role >

for incoderately beating and
abuseing him and upon hearing both partys This Comee
