Itt is Ordered that the said Petition be Referred to ye Considracon
of the Comee of this house who are desired to do what they shall
thinke fitt therein

dat 31st Marr 1671

The Clerke acquainted this Court that Henry Wyatt< no role > Esqr haveing
has Notice from the Comittee of this house to pull downe a Shed and
Stable erected upon a peice of ground at the East end of the Chappell
of this Hospital which was left by the Govrs. to be used as a Yard and
ought not to have been built upon as may appeare by the Lease of
the said ground (amongst other things) Demised to Wm. Audley< no role > (undr.
whom Mr Wyatt Claimes) for 62 yeares whereof there are now abt
21 yeares to come The said Mr Wyatt attended the said Comes yesterday
and acquainted them that the said Building or the greatest part
thereof was erected many yeares aged before he came into possion
of the said prmisses and that he did not apprehend it to be contrary
to the Lease but that if the Governors. are minded to take the said
peice of ground into their possion he was willing to Redemise the
same and to Submitt it to the Arbytracon of two persons one to be
Nominated by the Governors and the other by himselfe to Settle
what Consideracon he should have for the said peice of ground
in case the Goods will have a Redemise thereof or otherwise to
determine the matter in difference as the said Arbytrators
should thinke fitt And that it was the Opinion of the sd. Comittee
that this matter Should be laid before the Court for their direction
therein And this morneing Mr Wyatt Sent a Lettr. that he
Nominated John Lade< no role > Esqr one of the Govrs of this Hospital to
be Referree on his part Whereupon this Court doth Order
that it be Referred to John Roydhouse< no role > Esqr to Treat on
behalfe of this Hospital wth Mr. Lade in order to an Accomodacon
of the said Difference.
