Gratuity of £5 to
Turner Timmer Clerke


Also Mr. Trear Gardiner reported from the Comee
of this house that they had considered the Petition
of John Turner< no role > late Clerke to Mr Benjamin Timme< no role > referr'd
to 'em by the order of this Court of the Nineteenth of
March last and had heard what he had to say Upon
which they are of opinion to give him five pounds as a
gratuity in consideracon of his haveing long Served
in these Hospitals and to take of him a Discharge in
full of all demands of and from the Governours or their
Clerke or Steward And this Court doth order the
Same to be given and paid to him accordingly.

Also att this Court It is Ordered That Mr Trear
Gardiner on the behalfe of these hospitals have power
in concert with the Trears of the Hospitals of Saint
Bartholomew and St. Thomas) to Sell and dispose of
the Estate late of Mr. John Rand< no role > deced which he by
his last Will and Testament divised to the Said hospital
to be Sold for the raiseing of moneys to purchase
lands for the use of the Said hospitals respectively.

Mr Tallmans Widdow
Also upon reading the humble Petition of Elizabeth
Tallman
< no role > widdow the relief and Executrix of Christopher
Tallman
< no role > deced Setting forth That her said husband was
Surgeon to these hospitals for about fifteen yeares
dureing the greatest part of which time the number of
patients in Bethlem was considerably increased And
praying a gratuity in consideracon thereof It is
Ordered That Mr. Trear Gardiner doe give and pay
to the Said Mrs Tallman the Sume of Thirty pounds
as a gratuity in consideracon of her husbands long
service as Surgeon to these hospitals to be allow'd
him in his next account for the Hospital of Bethlem
