Also upon the humble Peticon of Samll Stavely< no role > who was
brought up wth Wm Norman< no role > Weaver one of the Artsmars of this
Hospll: and since made a Freeman of this City by the approbacon
of this Court and is sett up for himselfe in his trade of a Weaver att
the house of John Lawd< no role > att the Bull head in Winfeild street in White
Chappell , (as he alleadgeth) for some part of Mr Locks guift the better
to Enable him to carry on his trade It is Ordered by this Court
That Mr Depty Coles Mr Depty Carpenter Mr Craddock and Mr
Shepher'd four of the Govers of these Hosptls or any two of them be
desired to make Enquiry of the sd Samll Stavely whether he be so sett
up in his sd trade and of his hopefullness therein and to make Report
thereof to this Court.

of this Hospll: and

{John Crowther< no role > who served his Apprentpp wth Daniell Nipp< no role >
late one of the Arts masters of this Hosptl:

nominacon of Mr Gunston:

Also att this Court a Macon being made by Mr Depty
Fazakerly one of the Governors of these Hosptls That for the prvencon
of any danger that may happen by fire, Theives or the like This
Court would appoint a Watch every night to go once in every hour
into all the Starecases and other places with in this house as is
usuall in other Hosptls and Publick Societys And this Court con
-sidering the necessity and usefullness of such a watch Do think fitt and
so Order that the standing Comittee of this Hospll do consider of the
said mocon and what is proper to be done in order to the settleing
such watch and the charge thereof and to Report their Opinion
therein to this Court:

Also att this Court Sr John Crispe< no role > Bartt one of the Govrs of these
Hosplls haveing out of his Charity and benevolonce been pleased to
pay to the Trear of these Hosptls: the sume of £50 for the use of
the Hosptl of Bridewell and fifty pounds more for the use of the
Hosptl of Bethlem to be applyed to the wardrobe these And the sd
Sr John Crisp< no role > being now prsent It is Ordered That the thanks of
this Court be given to the said Sr John Crispe< no role > for the same wch is
done accordingly:
