Also Upon the humble Petition of Thomas Sherwood< no role > For Soloe
abatemt. of the weekly paymt. of 5s. For the keeping of Margt.
Sherwood
< no role > his Mother in Bethlem Hospll. where he has maintained
her above 6: months at the sd charge He having nothing to assise
him therein save wt. he Earnes by writing for Mr: Beadle a Scrivenr
behind the Royall Exchange Whereupon It is Ordered by this
Court That Security being given for the paymt: of Two Shillings
and six pence a week for the keeping the sd. Lunatick for the
future That the same shall be reced And the Bond for paymt: of
5s: a week shall be delivered up to be Cancelled.

Also Upon the humble petition of William Keene< no role > Citizen &
plaisterer of London For some abatemt. of the weekly paymt.
of 5s: For the keeping of Elizth: Keen< no role > his wife in Bethlem Hospll
she having been there above Six months & the petr. had nothing to
assist him towards the sd. charge save wt. he Earnes by his owne
Labor & is now very antient & Infirme And his sd. wife having
been twice in the sd Hospll. before & had noe abatemt: It is
Ordered by this Court That security being given for the
paymt. of 2s: a week for the keeping the sd. Lunatick in the
sd. Hospll. for the future That the same shall be reced and
the Bond for paymt. of Five Shillings a week Shall be delivered
up to be Cancelled.

Also Upon the humble petition of the Four Beadles and
porters man of the Hospll. of Bridewell For their usuall Gratuityes
of 20s. a peice in respect of the halfe yeare Ending at Michal
last And alsoe for 20s. a peice more for that their Sallaryes are
very small and they have all of them Familyes to maintaine
This Court upon consideracon of the prmisses doth thinke
Fitt and soe Order That Mr. Trear doe give and pay unto them
20s. a peice for their usuall Gratuityes And alsoe for this
halfe yeare 20s: a peice more To be allowed Mr. Trear in his
next Accompt

Also Upon the humble petition of the Three Beadles or
Baskettmen of the Hospll: of Bethlem For their usuall
Gratuityes of 20s: a peise given them by this Court in respect
of the halfe yeare Ending at Michas last It is Ordered by
this Court That Mr: Trear doe give and pay unto them twenty
Shillings a peice in respect of the halfe yeare Ending at Michas
last to be allowed Mr. Trear in his next Accompt.

Also Upon the humble Petition of Robert Best< no role > Citizen and
weaver of London who was brought up an apprentice wth. John Browne< no role >
weaver one of the Artsmars : of Bridewell hospll: and since made a Freeman
of this Citty by the approbacon of this Court and is sett up for himselfe in his
Trade of a weaver (as he alleadgeth) at the house of Mr: Cupps at the signe
of the Flying horse-a Cook's Shopp in Shoe Lane For some part of Mr. Lock's
gift the better to Enable him to carry on his said Trade It is Ordered by
this Court That Capt. Phillips Mr. Boulsworth Mr. Kebble & Mr. Reynolds
four of the Governrs of these hosplls. or any two of them be Desired to make
Enquiry of the said Robert Best< no role > whether he be Soe sett up in his
