mittigation of the weekly paymt. of 5s: For the Keeping of
valentine Beetham< no role > her husband in Bethlem Hospll. where he
has been above Six months She [..] being reduced to a
very low Condition by the great Charge She has been at in
providing for him in his Lunacy two yeares before; & since his
admission into the sd. Hosptl. & having notheng in the world to
assist her towards the sd. Charge save wt. is Earned by her Son
(who is very young) in his Father's Trade of a Carpentr . and
besides the petr. having 3 young Children to maintaine
This Court being Satisfyed of the Trueth of the matttr. of the
sd. Petition doe Ordr. That Security being given for the
payment of Two Shillings a week for the keeping the sd.
Lunatick in the Sd. Hospll. for the future That then the
same shall be reserved & the bond for the paymt. of Five
Shillings a week shall be delivered up to becauselled.

and is sett up for himselfe in his trade of a weaver as
he Alleadgeth) in a Court behind the Fountaine Ale-
house in Chancery Lane For some part of Mr Locks Gift
the better to Enable him to carry on and manage his sd.
Trade Itt is Ordered by this Court That Capt. Phillips Mr:
Boulsworth & Mr Keble three of the Governrs. of these Hosplls.
or any two of them be Desired to make Enquiry of the sd.
Nathan Holmes whether he be soe sett up in his sd.
Trade of a weaver and of his Hopefullness therein and
to make Report thereof to the next Court

Also This Court being accquainted That severall of the security for
the keeping of patients in the Hospll of Bethlem are very negligent
in paying the moneys due for such patients pursueant to the bonds
given by them upon their Admission into the sd. Hospll. neither
have they any regard to the Stewards frequent Lettrs. to putt then
in mind thereof wth. is a great Inconvenience & very prejudiciall
to the sd. Hospll. whereupon Itt is Ordered by this Court That in
case any Securityes for Patients in the sd. Hospll. shall runn in
arreare for their keeping there above 6: Months atter a months destle thereof Then such
Patients shall be discharged the said Hospll and sent to their
respective Securityes And that the Clark of these Hosplls:
