Upon the humble Petition of Anne Baker< no role > widow & Relict of Willm
Baker
< no role > Glover Shewing that her said Husband lived as an Artsmar .
in the said Hospll. about Seaven & thirty Yeares & kept so: apprentice [..]
many Yeares together but by great Losses in trade & otherwise
became poore & desire left the Petr. to gett her living by her a come Industry
& labour wth. She has hitherto done but being very Ancient is not
able to Undergoe any hardshipp whereby togetther liveing & therefore
praying the Charity of this Court in such manner as shall be
thought meet Itt is Ordered by this Court that Mr. Trear doe give a
pay unto the said Anne Baker< no role > the Sume of Sixteen Shillings out
of the poore's box belonging to this Hospll. by 2s: a week or what more [..] he
shall think fitt to be Allowed Mr. Trear in his next Accompt

Also Itt is referred to the Comittee for the Hospll. at Bridewell
to peruse the Bonds and Covents. at the Artsmar of the said Hospll
& to Inquire whether the Securityes therein named be liveing & in
a good Condition & to Add thereto or alter the same Asthey Shall be
and further to Enquire into all other disorders and grivances in the Sd. hospll. and the
Occasion precinct thereof & to make Report thereof to this Court And It is Ordred:
That Mr. Bolsworth be Added to the said Comittee

Also upon the humble Petition of Edward Serle< no role > [..] of London
Leather seller for Some Mitigation of the weekly payment
of Two Shillings For the Keeping of Edward Cook< no role > a poor Lunatick
in his Hospll. of Bethlem where he has been maintained by ye. Petr.
above 12 Months and has nothing of his owne to Assist towards
the Sd Charge & his mother being lately dead very poor he has noe frind
in the world to Assist him Save yor. Petr. who has noe other
obligation then being his neare Kinsman & nicharity to his
For Come Condition tho he has a great Family of his owne
to take care off & is not able to continue the Said Charge This
Court being satisfyed of the Trueth of the matter of the Said
Petition doe Order That Security being given for payment
of Two Shillings & Six pence a week for the future that then the
Same Shall be reced And the bond for payment of Five
Shillings a week Shall be Delivered up to be Cancelled

Also It is Ordered That Tatnai Blake< no role > who Served his
apprenticespp wth John Masselle< no role > formerly an Artsmar . of
the Hospll. of Bridewell be made a Freeman of this
Citty.
