And this Comittee being Informed that Severall Lewd idle and
disorderly people doe frequently meet in the said Hospll. and from
thence goe to tavernes and other places to Comitt Lewdness and
debauchery to the great Discreditt of the said hospll. and the good
Governmt. thereof They are of Opinion That the porter Baskettmen
and all other the Servants of the Sd Hospll. doe take Effectuall
care that noe person whatsoever that they have the least
Suspiscion to be a Lewd or disorderly Liver Nor any Young boys
or Girls that they think are Apprentices and have noe other
Buisyness in the Sd. Hospll. then to Spend their time Idly there, be
for the future permitted to Enter or come into the Sd. Hospll.

And the severall Paragraphs of the said Report being here
duely weighed and considered This Court doth Approve off
and Confirme the Same And doe Order That the said Report
be Entered in the Book of Orders concerning the Governmt. of
the said Hospll: of Bethlem And be Observed by the Severall
Persons concerned therein accordingly.

Also Upon the humble Petition of Margarett Gipps< no role > a poor widow
Shewing that She [..] was borne in Bridewell Hospll. her Father
having lived an Artsmar. there near 40 Yeares And that She
was an Artsmars. wife in the Said hospll: about Six & thirty yeares
& for many Yeares together kept 14 Apprentices That her last
Husband Joseph Gipps< no role > consumed & Spent all the Petrs. Goods and
Estate in his Life time And dying left her in a most miserable
poor Condition And [..] is neare Seventy Yeares of Age
and [..] both build & Came and has noe Friends in the world to
apply herselfe to for Subsistance and now She is utterly disabled to
provide for herselfe and therefore praying Such weekly allowances
as to this Court in Charity to the Petrs. Condicons should Seeme meet
Where upon It is Ordered by this Court ThattheMr Trear doe
all [..] Give & pay unto the Said Margtt. Gipps the Sume of
40s: by halfe a Crowne a week every Munday morning till the
same be out to be allowed Mr. Trear in his next Account

he having been kept there by ye. Petr. above 7 Months at the Sd: Charge whereby
& by his tedious Lunacy before his Admission into the sd. hospll.
