Upon Reading to this Court the Report of the Comittee
of the hospll. of Bethlem Pursuant to an Order of Court of the
14th: of July last Whereby It was referred to the Said Comittee
to Consider of Such Orders as they should think might be
proper for the good Governmt. of the sd Hospll. And to Report
their Opinions therein to this Court Which Report followeth.
in these Words Vizt.

It is the Opinion of this Comittee That two person whatsoever
Shall for the future be Entertained or taken into the Service of
the Sd Hospll. untill Such Person Shall first be Enquired of by
the Steward of the said Hospll. who Shall make his report
to the weekly Comittee for the Said Hospll: And then Such
Person may be Entertained as a Servant there If the Said
Comittee Shall think fitt but Shall afterwards be Confirmed
by Order of Court

And further That the Steward of the Said Hospll. for the time
being shall be Supervisor over all the Servants in the Said
Hospll. And that if any of them shall be Remisse in
these duty the Said Steward shall accquaint the weekly
Comittee there wth: and also that the said Steward Shall take
Care That the Orders for the good Governmt. of the Said Hospll
be Strictly observed And if he finds any Disorder or
Mismanagemt. contrary thereto He Shall likewise accquaint
the Said Comittee therewth who are to represent the Same to
a Court to be holden forth Said Hospll. that the Same way be
Rectifyed.
