Att this Court Capt . Jacob Jane way< no role > of Canterbury who takes
care of Letting the two Farmes in Kent belonging to these Hosptl. [..]
and receives the rents the roof Attending and now giveing an
Accot. thereof to this Court Itt is Ordered That the Thanks of
this Court be here given to the said Capt. Janeway for his
great Care and Diligence in the Affaires of these Hosptl. which
was done accordingly by the whole Court

Capt. Jameway to
take care of ye Estate
in ye Isle of Thamett


Also the Clerke of these Hosptls. accquainted this Court That
That he had attended Capt. Dorell & Mr: Chambers to which the
Estate in Kent lately bequeathed to these Hosptls. by one Mr.
Edmanson Andr That the Writings of the Title to the said
Estate are Lodged wth: the Said Mr. Chambers who is ready
to Deliver them to such person as shall be Ordered to receive
the same It is Ordered by this Court That Mr. Trear Doe take
the said writings in to his Custody for the Use of these Hosptls.
and That he give such Receipt for the same to the said Mr. Chamber
as he shall Desire And Itt is further Ordered That the said Capt.
Jane was doe take care to provide Such Timber and Lyme as
shall be need full For repairing the building upon the Estate
Psueant to the Court And That he shall take Care the same be
now read in Court And That he shall take Care the same be
repaired as Occasion requires And That he doe receive the
Rents thereof for the Use of these Hosptls. as the same shall
from time to time grow due.

Mr. Gurney a new
Lease


Also upon the humble Petition of Thos. Gurney< no role > Tamt. of the Farme
called Cottington in Kent belonging to Bethlem Hospt. praying That in
regard he has for severall yeares last been at very great charge in
laying Considerable Quantityes of Dung upon the sd. Estate And That
there is but about Three Yeares to come in his Lease wch is at a Rack
rent That he may have a New Lease thereof for such Terme as to this
Court shall seeme meet Itt is Ordered by this Court That (the said Tho.
Gurney surrendring his old Lease) a New Lease shall be granted to him
of the said Farme for 11 yeares under the same Rent and Covents as in
his former Lease
