Upon the humble Peticon of Thomas Yates< no role > Steward
of the Hospll. of Bethlem Seting forth That his prsent
allowance is very streight for the maintenance of himselfe
and family and his business in the said Hospll. Asta [..] Soe
great that he cannott attend to any other Employment
humbly praying therefore That this Court will he pleased
to be stowen him such Gratuity as they Shall think fitt in
respect of the Yeare Last past. This Court to sing in to Consider
the business and the Care and Dilligence of the Petr. in the business
of the said Hospll. & the Dearness of all manner of provision for
the Year last past Doe Order that Mr. Trear Baker doe give
and pay unto him Forty pounds as a Stree Gratuity of this
Court for the encouragemt. of his Dilligence in his Office &
towards the better maintenance of himselfe & family.
