and others his Fellows his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex now in their Court of General Session
of the Peace at the Session House on Clerkenwell Green
in and for the said County assembled.

The humble petition and Appeal of David
Levy

Mary Matfelon otherwise White Chapel in the said County
Salesman

Sheweth


That your Petitioner was on or about the twenty
seventh day of May last upon the Complaint of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate in the County
aforesaid duty summoned to appear before Rice Davies< no role > Esqr. and Robert
Smith
< no role > Esqr two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said County
of Middlesex to answer the Complaint of the said Churchwardens and
Overseers for unlawfully be getting a Male Bastard Child on the Body
of one Catherine Nathan< no role > This name instance is in set 8314405. single Woman , and which said Child is
become chargeable to the said Parish.

That your Petitioner in pursuance of such Summons on the thirtieth day of May
last did appear before the said Rice Davies< no role > Esqr and Robert Smith< no role > Esqr the
Justices aforesaid when they thought proper to make an Order of Filiation
and to adjudge your Petitioner to be the putative Father of the said Child.

That your Petitioner conceiving himself to be
greatly aggrieved by the said Order of the said
Justices humbly appeals to this Court against the
same praying such Relief in the Premises as to
your Worships shall seem meet.

And your Petitioner shall ever
pray Etc
