This Informant sayeth that on Fryday the [..] eighteenth
of March last as he was going along be twist eight and
a Clock at night through Kings Street by Covent [..]
he saw a Man in Soldiers Cloths in a very riotway mann [..]
with a Sword or stick in his hand pursuing a Woman
who run into a Barbers Shop to [..] And
Informant was afraid the said Man would do [..]
harm. And This Informant further sayeth [..]
saw two other Men at a little distance in Soldiers
Cloths in the same street coming along Cursing and
swearing to whom the [..] said Man that pursues
woman joyned himself. And the next morning this [..]
mant heard that Mr John Dent< no role > This name instance is in set 2759. was murdered that
[..] Night Vizt. the eighteenth aforesaid in Covent Garden
by three Soldiers And this Informant further sayeth [..]
that since saw William Arch< no role > Jeremiah Tooley< no role > and John
Clawson< no role > in Newgate who as this Informant was told stood
committed for the Murder abovementioned And This Informant
is positive that Jeremiah Tooley< no role > is the said man that pursued
the Women in Kingstreet above said and that he does belives
the other two Vizt Arch and Clawson to be the said other Men
to whom the said Tooley joyned himself as a aforesaid
