Middlesex to wit

The Information of William Branston< no role >
and Joseph Jeffcott< no role > taken before us two
of his Majestys Justices of the peace
for the said County

Who being severally upon Oath say and first
this Informant William Branston for himself saith
that about Tentwelveo Clock on Tuesday night last
he was going along Butcher Row near Temple
Barr when the person now present who calls herself
Charlotte Walker< no role > This name instance is in set 1436. asked this Informant to give
her a Glass of Wine that he went into the Ship
Tavern in Butcher Row and gave her some Brandy
and Water to Drink that when he went into the
said House with the said Charlotte Walker< no role > he had
a Pocket Book in his Pocket containing therein
a promisory Note of hand of Messrs. Croft and Company
Bankers in Pallmall for Repayment of the
Sum of Two hundred and forty pound, two Guineas
and a half in Gold and some Silver Silver in his
Breeches Pocket that he guilted the sand House
about twelve, o'Clock when this Informant told
the said Charlotte Walker< no role > he was going to White
Fryers when she insisted upon going with him
and call a Coach, and they both got unto the same
and is positive that when he got into the Coach
he had his Book and Money in his pocket
that they continued in the Coach for about one
hour when the Coachman insisted on their
getting out which they did and upon this
