the said Philip James May for himself saith that on or about
the twenty fourth day of May last this Deponent entered
into a Recognizance before the sitting Alderman at Guild he
Hall for the Appearance of this Deponent said son at the
then next session of Goal Delivery for the City of London
to

a Boy for picking his son's pocket
of a Handkerchief And further saith that he being Clerk of
the Grand Jury at Hick's Hall
that session be on wednesday
the first day of the sd. session for the said City sent his son
to the Old Bailey
to know how long the Grand Jury would sit
who brought for Answer that they would sit till the saturday
following And as the Grand Jury at Hicks Hall
were not
Discharged till the Friday Night (this Deponent Attending
them) be thought it would be time enough to prefer the Bill or
saturday And on the saturday Morning he and his son
went to the old Bailey
in order to proper the Bill against the said

the grand Jury weer Discharged the day before And the Deponent

for himself saith that on Wednesday th first day
of May session last be attended at the old Bailey
by Order
of his said Father and enquired of one of the serjeant at moe
how long the Grand Jury would sit, who Informed him that [..]
would vitz. till the saturday folowing on which he went back
and informed his Father there of and on the saturday they went
to the old Bailey
in order to person an Indictment against the
said John Sitts but were Informed the Grand Jury were in
Discharged the Day before And there Deponent both further
severally say that in July session following they attend
at the old Bailey
and the fored an Indictment against there
