the Choice of a proper Person to succeed him; and the<lb></lb>
Petitions of the Revd. Mr. Dodd; the Revd. Mr. Maltus;<lb></lb>
the Revd. Mr. Rhudde; and the Revd. Mr. Toovey being<lb></lb>
Presented to this Court and read Severally praying to <lb></lb>
be Chosen Minister of St. Thomas's Parish in the Room<lb></lb>
of the said Mr. Halford deceased. And each of them were<lb></lb>
informed by Mr. Treasurer That it was Expected by this<lb></lb>
Court that they should reside in the said Parish if Chosen<lb></lb>
for which purpose a House would be provided. Which they<lb></lb>
Respectively Promised to doThe Court then proceeded<lb></lb>
to the Election by Ballot. And on casting up the ballot<lb></lb>
it appeared that the Numbers were for the Revd: Mr. Dodd<lb></lb>
16. for the Revd. Mr. Maltus 7. for the Revd. Mr. Rhudde<lb></lb>
87 and for the Revd. Mr. Toovey 43.Whereupon the<lb></lb>
Revd. Mr. Rhudde was Declared duly Elected to the said<lb></lb>
Office To Hold the same during the Pleasure of this<lb></lb>
Court. And he was called in and acquainted with his<lb></lb>
