of a fine of £130. and of her putting the premisses into substantiall repair<lb></lb>
at hers own charge.</p>
<p n="2981">We being sensible of many mischeifs and inconveniencies attending<lb></lb>
our present usage and practice with respect to the Allowance of fees<lb></lb>
and perquisites to the Sisters and Nurses who attend the care of the severall<lb></lb>
Wards of the House And that there is likewise wanting a proper<lb></lb>
regulation of other fees and allowances We have considered of methods<lb></lb>
for preventing those evils and upon mature deliberation came to<lb></lb>
the following Resolutions which if approved by the General Court<lb></lb>
we hope will greatly tend to the better Government of the Hospital<lb></lb>
and the good and welfare of the Poor Patients entertained therein.</p>
<p n="2982">It is our Opinion that the present method of the Sisters and<lb></lb>
Nurses taking fees of Patients tends to the great prejudice of the<lb></lb>
patients in this Hospital by inducing of oppressions or neglects<lb></lb>
of them and ought to be altered.</p>
