<p n="2396">Wee recomend to this Court that a Gratuity of Ten pounds may be<lb></lb>

of the Hospitall, which is of late years greatly Increased, by the Increase of<lb></lb>
the Number of Patients.</p>
<p n="2397">Your Committee being Informed by Mr. Treasurer That the Parishioners<lb></lb>
of St. Thomas's parish in July last were endeavouring by Threats & otherwise<lb></lb>
to prevaile with Mr Casbeard our Chaplaine or Minister officiateing in the<lb></lb>
Church of Free Chappell appointed for the use as well of the Patients and<lb></lb>
Officers of this Hospitall as of the Parishioners; to Agree That a Lecturer<lb></lb>
chosen by the said Parishioners should have the use of the Pulpitt alway's<lb></lb>
on Sunday Mornings, And the said Mr Casbeard should Preach only in the<lb></lb>
afternoons: Wee thought the Right of the Hospitall was much concerned therein</p>
