Wee having Taken into our Consideration an order made by the<lb></lb>
Generall Court in the year one Thousand Six Hundred & Seventy<lb></lb>
Seven whereby 'tis Ordered That no Governors of this House (whilst<lb></lb>

And wee observing that since the makeing of that Order the number<lb></lb>
of Governors is very greatly increased And that severall Gentlemen<lb></lb>
who were then or afterwards became Tennants to this Hospitall<lb></lb>
have been since Chosen Governors thereof And Severall Leases<lb></lb>
held by them being near Expireing They are justly Intituled to Treat<lb></lb>
for the Renewall thereof And in Case such Governors should be<lb></lb>
Excluded from Treating for the same It would not only be prjudicial<lb></lb>
and Injurious to the Rights but might be also detrimentall to<lb></lb>
this Hospitall Wee are therefore of opinion That that Order ought<lb></lb>
to be altered and Explained And humbly recomend it to this Court<lb></lb>
That for the future only such Gentlemen as shall be of the Grand<lb></lb>
Comittee shall be Excluded from Treating for or Takeing Leases of<lb></lb>
Houses or Lands belonging to this Hospitall during such Time as<lb></lb>
they are of the said Comittee</p>
