the Scite of the then late Hospitall of St. Thomas Should be A Parish<lb></lb>
Church for the Celebrating and Administring of Divine Service and<lb></lb>
Sacraments therein, Aswell for all Inhabitants within the Scite and<lb></lb>
Close of the said late hospitall, and for the poore , the Officers and<lb></lb>
Ministers there for time being, As for all the Parishioners of the<lb></lb>
said Parish for the time being, And that the said Church should for<lb></lb>
the future be called The Parish Church of <rs type="placeName" id="LMTHMG55301_geo522">St. Thomas in Southwarke</rs>

own propper Use and Behoose for ever With a Grant of Full power<lb></lb>
and Lycence to Convert and retaine to their own use All houses Buildings<lb></lb>
Lands Glebes Pencons Fruites Tythes Oblacons and other Rights and<lb></lb>
Profitts belonging to the said Rectory & Church Without any<figure rend="mark"></figure>

Impeachment for hindrance by the said King his Heires or Successors or<figure rend="mark"></figure>

any Arch Bishopps, Bishopps, Archdeacons, Sheriffs Escheators<lb></lb>
Justices, Comission or other Officers Whatsoever of him his heires or<lb></lb>
or Successors And without any Accompt First Fruits or Tenths<lb></lb>
to be paid to him or them for the same And without Nominacon<lb></lb>
Prsentacon Institucon or Collacon of any Rector to be preferred in the<lb></lb>
said Chutch. Non Obstance the stat of Mortmaine.</p>
<p n="1441">And the King further Grants That the Said Maior and Coialty<lb></lb>
and Citizens shall from time to time Find and Maintaine Two<lb></lb>
Meet and propper Ministers, for the Celebrating of Divine Service<lb></lb>
and Administring the Sacraments As well to the poor and the Officers<lb></lb>
Servants of the Said Hospitall and House of the poor, As to the<lb></lb>
Parishioners of the said Parish of St. Thomas</p>
<p n="1442">Big Church being Old and ruinous, was lately Rebuilt by the<lb></lb>
Governors of the Hospitall, with Assistance of some Money<lb></lb>
given them by the Parliament The Pewing Galleryes and all<lb></lb>
the Inside worke was done at the Charge of the Hospitall The<lb></lb>
Inhabitants not Raced any Thing towards it.</p>
