agreed with Two of them not only they but att the rest without any Order or<lb></lb>
direccon from the Comittee pulled downs their houses and Shopps (is wee<lb></lb>
suppose to prevent or miltgate the Fine the next Sessions would have bin<lb></lb>
inflicted as they feared upon them</p>

And after the demolishing Wee haveing a more open View of the walls of<lb></lb>
the Wards of the Hospitall Wee found an Inchroachment long continued<lb></lb>
whereby not only a peice of ground about Eight inches broad and One<lb></lb>
and Thirty foote in depth from the Treete wad got from ps and another peice<lb></lb>
in the Treete of about Fower foote square but alsoe some of the Timbers of<lb></lb>
the house to which this Inchroachment was added doth beare on our Watt<lb></lb>

of new building an house designed by the said plott to bee built on the<lb></lb>
ground sett out for an house next to and on the Northside of the gate to<lb></lb>
the Hospitall according to the Rules and direccons prescribed for<lb></lb>
second rate buildings in and by the late Act of Parliament for<lb></lb>

good all damages to bee done to the Scite of the said Hospitall by<lb></lb>
occassion of takeing downe any parte thereof in order to the said building<lb></lb>
Hee shall have a Lease of the said intended new house and the P 100<lb></lb>
Roomes only which are to bee erected over the said Gateway at the<lb></lb>
Hospitals charge with the use of the Flatt of lead to bee laid over thor<lb></lb>
roomes in comon with the Hospitall Excepting Liberty for us to lay<lb></lb>
Timber on the Walls next the intended Porters Lodge and the Hospitall<lb></lb>
for One and Forty yeares from Lady day next at the yearely rent of<lb></lb>
Six pounds and Fower pounds P ann in the meane time</p>
